Ambelokipi

The Rikakis Cottage

Back to where you came from. The same text in Greek.

In the beginning of 1880, Andonios Rikakis {Αντώνιος Ρικάκης}, a politician from Patras, built a three-storie classical residence in 5 acres of landed property which he bought from the Petrakis {Πετράκης} monastery.

His daughter Maria {Μαρία} and her husband, Gustav Giol, sold it on May 4th, 1914, to V. Zacharov, an ingenious man who donated it to the Pasteur Institute.
